Dr Avik De holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IN), where he looked at MOF design, gel-based separation of toxic metals, and the use of lanthanide clusters as cell-markers and magnetic materials. He is currently doing a postdoc with Andy Ohlin, where his focus is on the photo- and electrochemical activity of metal oxides and other extended materials.
