Research
In my work, I focus on disentangling the impacts of climate change on Arctic aquatic ecosystems, combining insights from physics, biogeochemistry, and ecology. Specifically, I am interested in the role of changing seasonality and the impact of altered precipitation regimes on carbon cycling in Arctic lakes, highlighting the role of processes occurring under lake ice-cover and underscoring the cross-seasonal connections in high latitude lakes.
As a Kempe Postdoctoral Fellow, I will work with Jan Karlsson (EMG), Jean-François Boily (Chemistry), and Martin Rosvall (Physics) on a project focusing on carbon burial in the sediments of Arctic lakes.
Projects
This postdoc is supported by the Kempe Foundation. Swedish Research Council is currently supporting our project “Rust in Ice” (2021-2024, 2025-2028), awarded to Ph.D. supervisor Jean-François Boily
