Chun H. Ng


Dr. Chun Hin Ng completed his PhD on “Polythipohene and Dye Blends for the Photo-electrocatalytic Production of Hydrogen” under the supervision of Prof. Bjorn Winther-Jensen, Dr. Andy Ohlin and Prof. Douglas MacFarlane at Monash University in 2015 and has been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Ohlin group since. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Engineering) from Monash University.
Key research interests include the study of conducting polymers, photo- and electrocatalysis for use in hydrogen evolution, water splitting, fuel cells and energy storage as well as the general use of electrochemical devices for sustainable energy. He is currently a post-doctorate researcher in the Ohlin group, studying the effects of substrate and film morphology on the catalytic performance of poly(2,2′-bithiophene) with respect to the hydrogen evolution reaction.
